Stone Pro LLC, 1101 West Clairemont Avenue, Suite 1F, Eau Claire, WI, 54701 is seeking 10 temporary, full-time carpenter helpers to work at 2622 Ridgewood Street, Menomonie, WI 54751 and in the Western Wisconsin Nonmetropolitan Area (Dunn, Barron, Polk, Pepin, Buffalo, and Trempealeau Counties), the Eau Claire WI Metropolitan Statistical Area and in the Minneapolis-St.Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI Metropolitan Statistical Area from 04/01/2023 to 12/20/2023 for $18.92/hour. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. Duties include helping carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill. Carry tools and wood.

Make simple wood cuts. Nail simple lumber pieces. Construct wood forms, ensuring they are aligned, straightened, plumb or square for installation. Assist in raising wood forms to the required elevation.

Position wood forms. Place concrete in forms for finishing by skilled workers. Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds 20 yards. No prior education or experience required.

On-the-job training will be provided to the worker. Daily transportation to and from the worksite will be provided. Approximately 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with Saturday work as needed. Hours are 7:00AM-3:00PM, with up to 15 hours of overtime which may be available but is not guaranteed.

Overtime rate is $28.38. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due and pay biweekly by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee.

The employer will provide housing as an option to the employees. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $200.00 deducted per biweekly paycheck for rent and utilities. Employer will deduct the reasonable cost of damages and/or replacement of tools and/or equipment if such repair or replacement results from willful neglect or gross negligence of the employee. Employer will deduct the reasonable cost of negligent damage to lodging facilities and vehicles.

The worker will be reimbursed for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, in the first workweek at a rate of a minimum of $14.00 per day to a maximum of $59.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. The employer will provide or pay for the worker's cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed before 12/20/2023. The employer will provide transportation to and from the worksite.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
