Responsible for jobsite supervision including protection, cleanliness, and safety, carpentry labor, supervising, inspections, paperwork.

Responsibilities:

· Understanding of safety risks at work site.

· Move materials.

· Move tools.

· Move Equipment.

· Set up work area

· Clean up

· Assist carpenter as directed.

· Perform simple carpentry tasks with supervision.

· Able to help on different trades as required.

· Cut materials as required.

· Perform simple carpentry tasks with minimum supervision.

· Use of tools, and equipment to complete tasks as assigned.

· Measuring tape use knowledge.

· Understanding of drawing dimensions and information.

· Understanding and able to perform basic carpentry such as metal studs, wooden studs, Drywall installation, insulation installation with supervision.

· Able to understand and meet productivity goals assigned.

· Responsible for the wellbeing and safety of the assigned crew.

· Full understanding of carpentry drawing details.

· Capable of developing a construction methodology for the task,

· Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.

· Responsible for the quality of the assigned carpentry crew.

· Responsible to manage the assigned crew (including the performance and behavior).

· Responsible to collect information and submit daily reports.

· Responsible to provide feedback to the crew and management on the daily results.

· Responsible to plan and manage the resources available and required for the task in hand before the task is started.

· Able to perform basic carpentry with very minimum to no supervision.

· Able to install frames, doors, and windows.

· Able to train and mentor crew members.

· Able to provide leadership to its crew.

· Able to install door hardware

· Able to identify building code and industry standards.

· Capable of performing structural carpentry work.

· Capable of understanding and performing intricate carpentry work.

· Able to develop design details for carpentry jobs.

· Capable to develop intricate work methodologies following a lean and efficient sequence.

· Capable to interpret complex drawing details.

· Understanding and complete tasks on time or before.

· Clear understanding and able to propose and meet productivity goals and improve as possible.

· Responsible for the materials, equipment and tools required for the crew to perform the task assigned.

· Assigns productivity goals to the crew assigned.

· Responsible for the productivity goals for the crew assigned.

· Able to manage more than one crew.

· Responsible for the work vehicle assigned including the inventory and maintenance.

· Responsible for the quality of the crew.

· Responsible to mentor and teach techniques, materials knowledge, and equipment/tools usage to crew members.

· Responsible to train new hires.

· Responsible to resolve conflict within crews and reprimand as needed.

· Responsible to evaluate work performance of crew members.

Experience Required:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. (Preferred)

Requirements:

• High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate from vocational school (Preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of carpenter skills.
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
