Visiting Angels is the family alternative providing non-medical assistance to seniors, allowing them to stay in their home or maintain their current living arrangements in an assisted living facility or independent living community. We are seeking EXPERIENCED/TRAINED candidates with a passion to serve seniors. Candidates MUST have experience/training as a caregiver working with the elderly or disabled.

We are looking for candidates with the ability to work in the following areas: Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Maumelle

Caregiver Job duties Include:

Non-medical, in-home care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults

Hygiene Assistance – Bathing, Grooming and Toileting

Meal Preparation / Diet Monitoring

Medication Reminders

Light Housekeeping and Laundry

Ambulation / Mobility Assistance

Transportation (in client's vehicle), Errands and Shopping

Companionship and friendship for seniors and other clients

Caregiver Requirements:

A dedication and passion to serving seniors

A strong sense of responsibility and cheerful personality

A positive and dependable attitude

Ability to work in a personal, one-on-one care environment

1+ years of hands on verifiable experience, either in a private home or facility

High school/GED

Current TB Test results

Valid Driver’s License

Reliable car and current car insurance

Verifiable references from the facilities or clients you have worked for in the past with names, phone numbers, addresses, and dates of employment including the names of your supervisors

Current certification as a CNA, HHA, IHA, RA, PCT, etc., is preferred, but will accept experience

Alzheimer’s or other dementia experience is a plus

Ability to pass Criminal, DMV, Sexual Predator & Terrorist background checks required

• Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
• Charting or taking notes for others to review

• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
