Job description

Caregivers will work independently in client homes or for a healthcare facility providing personal care to patients. Travel will be required to a client's home and help the client perform basic domestic tasks like cleaning and activities of daily living such as bathing and providing them with companionship and emotional support.

Job Description:

• Provide clients with companionship, socialization and stimulation
• Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting and all necessary duties
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare and cook meals

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with various types of memory care such as Dementia, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons
• Empathy and compassion with the ability to care for the client’s social, emotional, physical, and mental needs
• Be able to respond to any emergency situation
• Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills

Pay: $16.25 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
