We are looking for caregivers to service our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. Our staff feel satisfied and rewarded since we take care of people who are often time ill, injured, disabled or elderly. We are looking to staff for a Dementia Client in Auburn Hills Client is Veteran who lives with wife, daughter and grandchild.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with all activities of daily living (Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Ambulation, Grooming, etc)
• Stand by assist with Bathing and Dressing.
• Client is self-ambulatory but uses a walker and has a shower chair.
• Client will need med reminders, light housekeeping and Laundry.

Skills

• Must Know how to transfer using a Gait Belt and Hoyer Lift.
• Must be knowledgeable on working with bed bound clients.
• Brief changing knowledge.
• Knowledgeable on how to deal with clients with behavioral issues.
• Employees must have Trach experience.
• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Basic knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
