WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A JOB COACH - CAREER COACH

As a Job Coach - Career Coach, you work with individuals and families in need of assistance with social services support such as childcare, transportation, and educational services to help them meet the requirements of their FCA. You are the primary contact for your caseload of participants, assisting them with achieving their short-term and long-term employment and other goals. In short, you work with our nonprofit to help people find good employment.

Your day-to-day tasks include running reports in FedcapCARES and using data to plan daily and weekly tasks, conducting comprehensive intakes to assist participants with understanding and exploring their needs, interests, and capabilities, and building effective partnerships with external providers to ensure that participants have access to and utilize needed services and supports. Additionally, you're responsible for upholding all agency policies and expectations in performing your job. You maintain exceptional record-keeping and document all communication with participants and external partners in FedcapCARES.

You're a self-starter who can work independently and in a team, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a passion for helping others - in other words, you're perfect for this social services position with our nonprofit!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A JOB COACH - CAREER COACH

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driver's license

Fluency in Arabic, Portuguese, Somali, French, or Lingala is preferred but not required. If you're passionate about social services work, we'd love you to join our nonprofit!
