We are a boarding, daycare, grooming and dog training facility for dogs and cats. We are looking to meet potential additions to our team.

This is an entry level position. There is opportunity for advancement. We are looking for a highly motivated Animal Care Specialist to help with the daily operations of the resort. Daily tasks include, but not limited to; caring for dogs/cats, monitoring play in all play sections, cleaning kennels and play areas, bathing dogs, feeding dogs, following a task sheet and completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the health and safety of all of our pet guest.

Successful candidates must be accountable, responsible, self-motivated, exhibit excellent customer service skills and be able to function in team environment. Animal care experience is not required, we will train.

Responsibilities Include:
-Playing and interacting with dogs/cats and monitoring play
-Cleaning kennels
-Feeding animals when needed
-Bathing animals when needed
-Mopping play areas
-Writing report cards for pet guests

Requirements:
- must be 18 yrs or older to apply

- must have a valid drivers license and own a car

- must be able to read and write English properly

- must love all animals and understand animal behavior

- must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time

- must be able to clean kennels

- must be able to handle all size, temperaments and breeds of dogs

- must work well with others and have a positive attitude

- must be able to work ALL holidays and weekends, including Sundays.

- must be able to work morning (6:30 am) and afternoon (1-7:30/8:00 PM) shifts

- must be able to mop large areas

- must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and not have any physical ailments that may impede your ability to perform this job.

- must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Pay: $11.50 - $13.00 per hour
