Who We Need:

The Capital Markets | Servicing Analyst I is responsible for building and maintaining key reports and performing detailed analysis of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) for Capital Markets and Servicing. This position will develop data and tools necessary for risk reporting, reconciliations, process improvements and executive summaries.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) Analytics support for Capital Markets and Servicing
  • Prepares monthly analysis related to servicing operations functions or MSR portfolio performance (prepayment speeds, delinquencies, etc).
  • Continuously monitors MSR pricing with respect to internal models, MSR buyers and 3rd party sources
  • Assists and manages MSR acquisition and sales transactions as needed
  • Manages daily servicing operations duties, including purchase advice review, loan boarding, releases and general recon related to those activities
  • Handles other ancillary servicing operations tasks as required
  • Provides support for ad-hoc data analysis
  • Coordinates statement messaging activities with our subservicer
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, preferred
  • 1 - 3 years data analysis or BI work experience, preferably for a financial services company BI tools experience
  • Fundamental understanding of the mortgage and servicing industry
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Access)
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform, SQL, Python, VBA or scripting languages is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks
  • Ability to analyze large data sets
