Summary
Guide and support new nurses or nursing students during their clinical orientation phase by providing hands-on instruction, sharing knowledge, and offering guidance for Pediatric to Geriatric emergency care. Work with care team to establish care plans for patients while supporting new nurses and nursing students learning objectives.
Requirements
· 5 years preceptor experience
· 3 years or more experience using EPIC
· General pediatric and adult emergency skills, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, Basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration, Conscious sedation, Blood administration, TPA administration, Code Blue experience, Trauma and Neuro experience
Education/Certifications
· BLS
· ACLS
· PALS
· TNCC
· NIHSS
· CPI/MOAB
