Job description

Forest Hills Club is seeking a dependable part time individual with a positive and cheerful attitude to assist in the office and maintain the facilities during the 2023 camping season (ending around Sep. 30). Position includes weekend shifts.

About us:

Forest Hills Club is a cooperatively owned clothing-optional campground located in Saranac, Michigan. The grounds provide annual members and daily members with plenty of room for camping, activities, and relaxation. While Forest Hills Club is a membership-based club, we welcome daily members from approximately May 1 through September 30. Forest Hills Club is family oriented in its approach to nude recreation. Our members believe in the naturalness and wholesomeness of the human body. People really do come in all shapes and sizes and, as far as our bodies are concerned, none of us have anything to hide. Once you’ve socialized in the nude, you will realize the enormous impact what we wear has on who we are. Nudists include every religious denomination, the entire political spectrum, all ages, all shapes and sizes, and all educational levels. We are totally accepting of our bodies, just the way we are. Social stature is not important. The important consideration is who you are. You can learn more about us at our website, https://foresthillsclub.com.

Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Typical duties include answering phones; checking in daily members; greeting guests; giving tours; taking reservations; assisting with caring for pool and hot tub areas; cleaning clubhouse, office, etc.; monitoring supplies (for office, restroom, and cleaning, ice bags, etc.), and similar campground duties.

Requirements:

You must have excellent customer-service skills when dealing with guests. Satisfying guests’ needs is critical to the success of the Club. Strong interpersonal skills are essential because you must interact regularly with many different people. You must be an effective communicator and will be expected to have positive interactions with guests and other volunteer staff, even in stressful situations. The job may involve listening to complaints or criticism.
