Essential Job Functions:

• The Nursery / Infant Teacher plans and implements daily activities

• The Nursery / Infant Teacher maintains cooperative relationships and clear, positive communication with staff, children, families, and support professionals

• The Nursery / Infant Teacher provides loving and attentive personal care to children

• The Nursery / Infant Teacher ensures safety of children at all times and across all learning environments.

• The Nursery / Infant Teacher maintains health and safety practices in accordance with state and local regulatory guidelines.

Education/ Experience requirements:

• CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field (complete, or nearly complete)

• 1 year verifiable experience in licensed child care or related field with direct experience working with infants or toddlers'
