RieLes Group is currently seeking an experienced Patient Appointing Service Specialist (PAS) to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. The person in this position will perform services in an appointing call center on a federal installation, off-site owned/leased facility.

Specific Duties and Tasks include but may not be limited to:

• Provide patient appointing services over the telephone
• Make, coordinate, reschedule and/or cancel appointments
• Correct appointment booking errors made by other CSPs for all inbound and outbound calls and correspondence
• Route/transfer calls to the appropriate MTF location
• Interpret the beneficiary’s request for an appointment and apply the appropriate DHA/MTF appointing criteria and directives to the request
• Accurately document the reason for appointment in CHCS, AHLTA, and MHS Genesis

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise meet citizenship requirements
• Shall be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Must be familiar with basic medical terminology
• Must be knowledgeable in and able to use contractor-owned or local MTF telephony applications to track call volumes
• Must have a favorable background and be able to pass a government security screening
• Must be able to able to type and have experience using a computer
• Must have a working knowledge of computer applications/software including Microsoft Office programs, MS Outlook (e-mail), and internet familiarity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
