3D Drafter

Fabspeed Motorsport is seeking an experienced 3D Drafter for our exciting and fast-paced design, engineering, and world-class manufacturing facility in Fort Washington, PA. Automotive enthusiasts are highly encouraged to apply as we design products for exotic cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, and others. Products range from aero accessories and tow hooks to high-flow catalytic converters and valved exhaust systems.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience using 3D CAD software (Solidworks Preferred) on a daily basis in a 3D Design engineering setting. Other work experience may be substituted.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Detail oriented
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills
• A good understanding of Google Suite of Products (Gmail / Docs / Sheets)
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the ability to receive feedback
• CNC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use of all facets of the Solidworks software related to the preparation of 3D models and 2D drawings of new components for R&D and manufacturing departments.
• Make part revisions based on feedback from Manufacturing or R&D Departments
• 3D Scan vehicle components (Training provided)
• Create BOMs and SKUs in the ERP system (Training provided)
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
