CAD Designer

We're hiring a creative, full-time CAD designer to bring our clients' architectural dreams to life! You'll serve as an architectural drafter for our company, utilizing design software to produce 2D and 3D designs. Communication is vital for this position as you'll work directly with clients and incorporate their feedback into your details and shop drawings. CAD Designer Responsibilities

• Attend preliminary meetings with the client to understand the project specifications and scope.
• Work with construction team members to establish a timeline and budget for the design.
• Use design software to produce 2D or 3D designs, depending on the project's complexity.
• Notify superintendents and project managers of the design's progress and when the shop drawings are complete.
• Get feedback from the client and construction managers and revise designs as needed.

CAD Designer Qualifications

• An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in design, architecture, construction engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of work experience in architectural design, and construction documents.
• Advanced knowledge of architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Inventory, Solidworks, Rhino, etc. :
• Possess a firm grasp of the industry and stay up-to-date on evolving trends in architectural technologies.
• Stellar attention to detail, teamwork abilities, communication skills, and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
