C# / .NET DEVELOPER

Overview

This is a contract position with a duration of 6-9 months with the possibility of extension or hire. This position is ONSITE in Louisville, Kentucky.

This FULL-TIME, ONSITE position will be responsible to rewrite and update the current operating software for the TETRAS Asynchronous Peptide Synthesizer in collaboration with the current TETRAS engineering team. The Developer will be interacting with the TETRAS device regularly.

This C# developer will develop the project plan and execute the plan to completion. The person in this role will develop the necessary software to operate the TETRAS, thoroughly test and debug the software, fully document the software development process, provide user documentation, and provide post-launch software process improvements, corrections and fixes for a defined length of time.

Other Responsibilities

· Debugging and maintaining written code.

· Defining and organizing the TETRAS software update project

· Reporting and resolving issues related to the TETRAS project

· Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.

· Working in a project team alongside other developers and stakeholders

· Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.

· Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.

· Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.

Key Skills and Experience Required

· Expert level end to end development skills and experience using C#, .Net

· Helpful: Recent verifiable experience developing a successful application for the operation of an electro-mechanical device of similar complexity to the TETRAS

· Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET.

· Experience with .NET Core is a plus.

· Knowledge of other coding-languages (Python, C++, Java, JavaScript).

· Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.

· Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.

· Sound understanding of coding and development processes.

· Experience with working in an agile environment.

General Skills
