Major Responsibilities:
- Schedules assigned motor family and ensures that production schedules are being created to meet customer requirements while collaborating with material requirement planning for manufacturing and driving RK and PK metrics.
- Interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Ensures that multiple work orders are scheduled for production.
- Determines finished goods inventory levels.
- Identifies rework/repurpose or other opportunities.
- Creates Phase In/Phase Out for all New Product Developments (NPDs)/Engineering Change Requests (ECR)/Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Manages obsolescence and QA hold exposure.
- Influences respective line rates as part of the Supply Plan during the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) process.
Qualifications:
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Associate's degree or equivalent related experience.
- 2+ years work experience with inventory in a manufacturing setting
