As an Essential Business. Thornton Ace Hardware is currently seeking a non-exempt, part-time, hourly, Business Sales Specialist, to focus on incremental growth on existing accounts, new business account development, networking and in-store activities specified by the Manager. Responsibilities include prospecting, building relationships with customers, setting appointments with prospects, presenting product, programs and meeting a sales quota. Business Sales Specialists will also transport samples of products for presentations and consult with current and prospective customers.Qualifications:
- Generating revenue, meeting sales and margin targets.
- Developing and qualifying leads within respective locations and drive additional sales through building relationships and lead generation campaigns.
- Gathering and utilizing business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and driving new business.
- Working with in-store staff and management to cultivate a commercial sales culture.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Delivery of product when necessary.
- Attend networking events on Company’s behalf.
- Work with multiple locations.
