Job Title: Business Operations Trainer L&D

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to collaborate with our User Experience and Content Creation Teams to provide Ferguson associates with an impactful learning experience! We are seeking a top performer to deliver training in a compelling and engaging manner. Ideal candidates would have a background in Salesforce and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and have a deep understanding of L&D, training, and advocacy for adult learners.

In this role, you will deliver functional and ongoing development programs to support enterprise-wide digital transformations. You will have an opportunity to combine a passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring, and an enthusiasm for technology, to drive learning and establish positive relationships with Ferguson associates. You will also collaborate closely with many partners (Business Process Directors and Coordinators, Program and Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other trainers) to discover and meet the training needs of the organization.

Location:

This position is approved for remote work. Associates across our organization who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply. If local to Hampton Roads, our corporate offices offer a wonderful work environment as well. Domestic travel of up to 25% is a possibility for in-person collaboration and/or training. The ability to be available during normal east coast working hours is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver functional training and workshops for new and existing business processes to support customer and non-customer-facing associates.
  • Conduct associate training using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based and virtual learning to create an engaging learner experience.
  • Provide orientation and training on new course material through the selection of appropriate training aids.
  • Support and influence the ongoing development and training needs of Ferguson associates by focusing on the end-user learning experience.
  • Leverage feedback mechanisms to ensure accurate and effective training content.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of L&D programs and training activities.
  • Assess the accuracy of learning material and contribute to content development.
  • Collaborate with workstream and deployment SMEs to develop specialist knowledge to impact associate learning outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent application of training standards throughout the organization.
  • Participate in L&D meetings and communicate any management concerns.
  • Keep informed of new training methods and techniques, and maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and standard methodologies to guide the business towards success.
  • Help see opportunities and/or solutions to bridge potential gaps in learning and delivery strategies.
  • Represent the organization to customers, associates, vendors, and leadership as needed.
  • Support ad hoc projects and learning pathways as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
  • 3+ years of proven training, facilitation, coaching, and development experience.
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Office 365 experience (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Experience with Salesforce technology.
  • Commitment to and passion for excellence, to cater to all associate learning needs.
  • Ability to work with and understand Ferguson’s technology solutions and business processes.
  • Ability to quickly understand Ferguson’s strategy and markets.
  • Comfortable with high volume workload.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and work independently in a challenging environment.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual conferencing, and knowledge of content management preferred.
  • Adult learning theory knowledge preferred.
  • Train the Trainer (T3) experience preferred.
  • Change management knowledge preferred.

    Pay Range:

      Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

        $4,583.00 - $6,167.00

          Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

            This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
