Aon’s Cyber Solutions is looking for Business Development Associate to join our team. As a Business Development Associate, you will be teamed with a senior Sales Originator to help support new sales pursuits and manage all phases of the sales lifecycle to drive company top-line growth. You will also be client-facing, requiring you to understand clients’ objectives and needs and ensure successful client relationships are built and maintained. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to effectively manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and identify, grow, and maintain new business relationships.

Compensation will include competitive salary and a bonus tied to the targets of your paired Sales Originator and annual goals.
Business Development Associate Job Responsibilities and Duties
Deepen industry knowledge and understanding of the firm’s clientele Assist senior originator in all aspects of the sales lifecycle, including initial lead screening, creation of sales presentations, proposal writing, RFPs, contract management and negotiations, and deal closing. Address client queries in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with senior originator to cross-sell into existing client relationships Formulate and execute sales & marketing strategies and prospecting campaigns, including lead development, follow-up and opportunity creation Build and maintain client databases using sales enablement tools Help in the creation of promotional and sales materials Organize and attend networking events
Business Development Associate Job Requirements Previous sales experience highly preferred (3-5 years minimum) Familiar with CRM tools Proficient in MS Office Highly organized and detail oriented Strong project management skills and multitasker Excellent oral and written communication skills Outgoing personality

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $125,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
