United Care Team (UCTeam) is a mission driven, community focused division of Legend Health. Our teams of healthcare professionals provide sub-specialty medical services in Cardiology/Cardiovasular, Hospice, Podiatry, Residential Care, and Wound Care. Our physician led division is focused on harmonizing services with the patient’s primary care provider to provide a seamless patient experience.

UCTeam specializes in treatment for chronic or non-healing wounds, which are defined as sores or wounds that have not significantly improved from conventional treatments. Associated with inadequate circulation, poorly functioning veins, and immobility, non-healing wounds lead to lower quality of life and may lead to amputations. Chronic wounds can lead to a severe decrease in quality of life, that's where we come in.

Our comprehensive team of wound care specialists and dedicated Advanced Wound Care Centers are designed to complement your physicians’ services. We are committed to the treatment of chronic or non-healing wounds.

The Business Development Liaison is responsible for earning and supporting growth for subspecialty healthcare services provided by UCTeam. Specifically, the Liaison is responsible for earning and enabling inbound referrals for wound care and other services from current and prospective client facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain productive business relationships with stakeholders at hospital, skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, hospice, and other medical facilities.
  • Represent UCTeam at community and medical education events to showcase clinical offerings.
  • Uncover and clarify clinical/operational needs of client and align with UCTeam offerings
  • Earn commitment for, and enable utilization of, UCTeam services.
  • Coordinate efforts with client Case Managers, Social Workers and leadership to identify appropriate patients and overcome barriers in the referral process.
  • Coordinate efforts with UCTeam colleagues ensuring excellent service to our common patients and excellent bi directional communication with clients.
  • Actively monitor, manage and react to referral trends for client facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and refine business plan to achieve monthly growth targets.
  • Prepare and present quarterly ‘report card’ of UCTeam services to client facilities.
  • Reports to Vice President, Partnerships & Acquisitions

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare sales or business development, or equivalent
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship development, written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of healthcare marketplace, medical facilities, and clinical pathway for patient care
  • Coachable – ability to accept and implement professional coaching to achieve common goals
  • Digital literacy – properly leverage digital resources and interpret data to earn, maintain, grow, and report our growth.
  • Patient focused, results driven.
  • COVID Vaccination and Annual Influenza Vaccination are required.
