Job Summary:
The Business Analyst focuses on the use of information and analytics to improve healthcare delivery and optimize consumer and provider focused business processes. This position is responsible for the reporting, moving, and loading of data from vendors and business systems into internal networks and programs.
Daily work involved requires the creation and execution of queries against business systems, developing reports, dashboards, and other custom tools using said data. They will be responsible for the extraction and analysis of health care provider information, evaluating, writing, and presenting reports (compliance, inventory, progress). Support business operations for internal and external customers in an effort to facilitate compliance and improve the quality of services provided to members and providers. This individual is responsible for data research using multiple sources of data and analyzing algorithms. The individual will be required to work on projects with others within the department and within internal networks. Additionally, they will be responsible for using programming to pull out data and interpret it in a way that is meaningful and effective to the project or task at hand.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of programming data analytics experience.
Must have strong experience in Excel, and Microsoft Access.
Must have experience in SQL or display aptitude to learn basic SQL.
Must have strong experience in one or more of the following: Tableau, Python, Alteryx, or Visual Studios custom software application development
Must possess strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Ability to work and help promote change within the department and across networks effectively
10% or less travel required

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
A web based, job ready portfolio of past data analyst work completed
Tableau Prep is a PLUS
Tableau certifications are a PLUS
Python pandas, NumPy, JuPyter experience is a PLUS
Python visualization experience (MattPlotLib, FusionCharts, Seaborn, etc) is a PLUS
Experience setting up APIs (Application Programming Interface) a PLUS
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience a PLUS
Alteryx certifications is a PLUS

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 72,800 - 121,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
