Here's some of what you would be asked to perform:
- Contributes to a culture of innovation, actively seeking ways to enhance the capability and performance efficiency, efficacy, and success of TD Securities
- Work with Global Operations process owners and business segments' stakeholders to ensure effective communication, integration of project issues and deliverables, and clear articulation of business requirements are captured
- Use negotiation and influencing skills to build consensus amongst diverse stakeholder groups to ensure project deliverables are met
- Document Business or Stakeholder Requirements in Agile format User Stories that can be understood by the intended solution developers.
- Develop high level and detailed requirements by researching/analyzing issues, identifying opportunities for process optimization. Work with functional team to produce detailed functional specifications. Work with end users and other Business Analysts to analyze, recommend solutions to problems
- Document detailed test cases with data input and output to be consumed by Quality Engineer team to develop E2E testing automation to meet established expected acceptance criteria
- Participate in the exception manual testing, where applicable
- Ensure deliverables meet business and end-user requirement and assist in implementation business validation
- Create training artefacts and provide support in delivering training sessions to Operations teams or business users
- Manages resolution of issues and risks effectively and if required ensures timely escalation of the issues and risks
- Communicates effectively at scrum sessions to resolve issues and challenges on a timely manner to meet project timeline.
Additional accountabilities:
- Support Payment Data product owner to understand problems and identify solutions
- Rapidly prototype early-stage solutions (MVP)
- Organize and deliver a comprehensive project view from data collection, data wrangling to model development, visualization and training
- Gather Requirements, document assumptions and methodologies, carry out validation and testing to facilitate peer reviews and independent model validation
- Think strategically by proposing new business metrics / alternative approaches
- Partner with technology on infrastructure, SDLC and deployment processes

Qualifications
- Proven collaborative and partnering skills

- Good track record of identifying and delivering process optimization
- Strong ability to execute in all situations and adjust quickly when necessary
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Good organizational skills, with the abilities to manage multiple deliverables in a time-
- Ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently.
- Good relationship management skills with demonstrated inter-personal skills,
- Experienced in Agile project techniques and tools including Microsoft Project, JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in testing and the concept of E2E testing automation framework.
- Understanding of development, data manipulation would enhance the partnership with Quality Engineering team to build robust repeatable tests harness
- Having Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or experience operating in scaled agile delivery is considered an asset
- Good presentation skills, with an ability to work effectively with several partners
- Knowledge of Swift, life cycle of wire payment and Global Transaction Banking
- Familiarity with Swift ISO 20022 standards is an asset
Technical skills:
- Experience in Python, Java, C or C++
- Experience with big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, SparkML etc will be an asset
- Familiarity with basic data table operations (SQL, Hive, , etc.)
