BUSINESS ANALYST
Our team in Reading currently has an opening for a Business Analyst
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary of Job Purpose and Function:
Provides advanced level data analytics support for our leadership team by creating reports, analyzing, and forecasting data to identify organizational efficiencies.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Conduct research, collect, and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
  • Pull data and populate slides for various presentations
  • Extract Qlik and Accounting Data as needed
  • Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels
  • Interact with external clients as needed
  • Co-ordinate project-based work
  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary
  • Prepare and edit presentations, correspondence, communications and other documents
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

YOUR PROFILE
Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business and/or data analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with C-suite level stakeholders
  • Team player, with high work ethic, eager to learn and contribute
  • Works independently, self-motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Problem solving ability focused on stakeholder satisfaction
  • Strong ability to manage complexity and change in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive with good time management skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, writing and presentation skills
  • Travel and event planning experience is a plus

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit at a desk as necessary
  • Ability to travel and sit for long periods in a company vehicle
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
  • Maintain composure with dealing with conditions requiring urgency or pressure
  • Maintaining composure in dealing with customers, authorities, executives, clients and staff, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Highly self-motivated, high energy and ability to move mentally at a rapid pace.
