We are looking to hire a Business Account Manager, Tunnel & Transit to service the Transportation sector.


This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

The Business Account Manager is a key position in the transportation sector providing business growth and solutions in the tunnel and transit markets. This role is the primary point of contact to a portfolio of business needs in expanding the company’s reach into these market spaces. A combination of hunter-farmer, nurturer and explorer, this role will represent the company in both public forums (trade shows, networking opportunities) and in business-to-business relationships, ensuring that our value proposition is properly articulated, and our solutions and services are developed and aligned with industry needs. This position will initially focus in North America, and the ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in business development, sales, strong analytical and relationship management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop initiatives, growth strategies, and plans to meet business goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve maximum potential and produce results in the best interest of the company while respecting and delivering customer needs.
  • Follow, research, and make recommendations based on industry trends and best practices to improve company position and opportunities.
  • Track both pipeline and specific leads in our CRM and dashboards.
  • Cultivate relationships with engineering firms, developers, economic developers, community leaders, and other public and private entities to generate leads.


These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field is required.
  • Demonstrated progressive growth in sales in commercial or civil construction related companies with five (5) or more years of relevant sales and account management experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related business development experience, conducting market research and developing business plans and growth strategies.
  • Proven track record with a strong focus on new business development, including cold calling, setting appointments, presenting, meeting with potential customers, pricing, and entire proposal life cycle.
  • Superior communication (written & verbal), presentation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence team members, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to simultaneously plan, organize, manage, and direct a complex variety of program activities to deliver the required business benefit.
  • An innate entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen with a solid foundation for market fundamentals.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused & resourceful individual with strong follow through.
  • High level of tolerance for ambiguity including a willingness to take calculated risks and implement novel market approaches.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
