Job Summary:

The Vocational Job Coach will be responsible to assist clients with job placement, training, and life skills. They will assist the Vocational department with seeking new contracts for client employment, along with follow-up of current contracted positions for assigned clients. They will assist the Vocational Program Managers in implementation of current job duties and extended training. They will also assist in maintaining daily and monthly reports for billing.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and a good driving record and proof of vehicle insurance
• Experience in working with Developmentally Disabled adults preferred
• Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication skills

Annual Competency Requirements:

• First Aid CPR AED
• Medication Administration Training (MAT)
• ETL
• Job coach training
• ETSO training
• 20 hours of approved training

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain community job sites
• Implement curriculum
• Maintain daily and monthly reports.
• Attend team meetings for students as requested by coordinator

Candidate must have clean background check and no substantiated reports of client abuse or neglect.
