We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Building Manager with the Facility Management Department. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of building tenants, coordinating, and managing maintenance and repair activities, and collaborating closely with vendors to ensure smooth daily building operations. This role will also be the point of contact for the IT and Audio/Video (AV) departments to address any technology needs and assist in managing projects.
What Will You Do:
- Coordinating and supervising regular building maintenance and repairs.
- Maintaining a safe environment for all occupants and visitors.
- Preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets.
- Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers.
- Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports.
- Ensuring facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building codes.
- Responding to inquiries and requests by staff and resolving any problems or issues.
- Coordinate and lead events hosted at the performance center
- Run parking lot including access and spot allocation
- Leading and directing cleaning and security staff and activities.
- Preparing and carrying out emergency protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with Suns IT and AV departments to address technology needs and enhancements
What We Need From Our Building Manager:
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a professional sports organization is plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ability to strategically delegating tasks to team members.
- Skilled and capable to work under pressure and confident problem-solver.
- Quick learner who is adaptable to change.
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field preferred
- GED or High School Diploma Required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a building manager or in a similar role

- Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet business needs

- Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
- Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
- Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
