Job description

At BrightStar Care of Milwaukee, our purpose is improving lives and providing “Peace of Mind” through our higher standard of care. We’re seeking a qualified Operations Manager to lead our Staffing division. This individual is responsible for oversite of sales development, coordination of inside sales efforts, and operations of the staffing division within three market areas - Milwaukee/Racine, Janesville, and Madison. **Candidate could live in any of these areas**

Our ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can define short term and long term strategic and operational plans. They can take these plans and execute with the support of their team members to position our Staffing division for success.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a team of staffing managers
  • Approve new staffing contracts and ensure contract language complies with BrightStar and Joint Commission standards
  • Monitor competitive benchmarking and make recommendations for changes to pay/bill rates to remain highly competitive in each market
  • Forecast trends of staffing opportunities in each market and provide guidance to management team on how to capitalize on it
  • Lead the management of Staffing AR levels. Serve as the point of contact and provide follow up for clients that are not current.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or communications, preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the temporary staffing industry, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in people management
  • Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills). Strong at persuasive and educational writing and speaking
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving
  • Comfortable with closing/asking for business
  • Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and a service attitude towards the community
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance
