Here at Out of the Closet Thrift store, we are looking for a devoted Driver who can take charge and assist in daily shipments within the Bay Area. This opportunity is full time with benefits included. If you are passionate about driving. You will have an opportunity to provide driving services for a unique patient population that needs your help. It’s mandatory for all drivers and assistants to comply with all Department of Motor Vehicle, AHF/OTC safety guidelines, policies and procedures, as well as, abide by the AHF/OTC vehicle maintenance policy.
An AHF Driver is accountable for projecting and integrating AHF’s mission and values within the Retail Department. The Driver drives trucks to a loading point, loads truck, conducts daily maintenance routines on vehicles, submits inventory control sheet and logs to the Dispatch Supervisor, reports defects and malfunctions to Dispatch Supervisor, and delivers all donations.
The Driver adds consistent value to the Retail Department Team by adapting to situations, being flexible and having excellent customer service skills.

*Education and/or Experience*
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

*Language Skills*
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
**
*Mathematical Skills*
Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
**
*Reasoning Ability*
Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
**
*Other Skills & Abilities/Qualifications*
Clean driving record.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, evenings.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Previous experience driving a 15 ft. high cube, 1 ton vehicle preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Valid California Driver’s License.
