Job description
We're looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper to help keep our books in order. The Assistant Bookkeeper is responsible for helping maintain our billing software and managing the company's accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in accounting and will be prepared to handle a heavy workload. We're seeking someone who is detail-oriented, able to multitask and ensure that all company procedures are followed in order to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Follows supervisory instructions accurately and completely.
- Does basic arithmetic quickly and correctly.
- Files paperwork in an orderly fashion.
- Follows supervisory directions accurately and completely.
- Prepares documents for storage in a confidential manner.
- Maintains good working relationships with fellow workers, supervisors and customers.
- Maintains a neat appearance and is well-groomed.
- Regularly performs non-routine tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
