The Germain Toyota of Naples Express Paint and Dent Repair Shop is currently looking for an experienced Estimator. The estimator appraises vehicle(s) damage to determine repair cost for insurance claim settlement.

$70,000 plus expected salary

Monday through Friday schedule

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examines the damaged vehicle to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
• Estimates the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
• Reviews repair cost estimates with the body shop manager or foreman.
• Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
• Evaluates the practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before the accident.
• Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
• Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Estimates the cost of repainting, converting to special purposes, or customizing undamaged vehicles.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor. Professional dress in a neat and business-like manner

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be familiar with CCC
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Prior automotive experience is not required but may be a plus.
• Bilingualism is not required but can be very helpful.
• A valid Driver’s license is required.
• The ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report, is required.
