Hello and Welcome!

Hop aboard Long Island’s only Paddle Pub, a 35' eco-friendly party boat that holds up to 26 passengers & 2 crew! Each round-trip pleasure cruise is 2-hours long, with a 30-min. prep before & cleanup after. Guests bring their own food & drinks onboard to enjoy while they pedal, sing, & dance to music on a laid-back ride in Patchogue, Huntington, & Port Jefferson, NY.

VESSEL:

Paddle Pubs are 35'x10' US Coast Guard inspected pontoon vessels with a large paddle wheel at the stern. Guests sit around the center bar & pedal in their seats to power the paddle wheel. It's equipped with a 90HP engine & a thruster. The boat is covered overhead and has an onboard head.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning and prepping the vessel with your first mate before the start of the tour, as well as after the tour.

Providing a friendly and safe environment for the passengers on board during their entire experience.

Communicating with management about issues arising from operations or required maintenance on the vessel.

SCHEDULE:

Our season runs from May through October. We are looking for Captains who primarily want to work weekends, especially during the months of June, July, & August. Tours will be available every day, but the majority of tours will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays. Hours of operation are between 9am & 12am. Based on your availability, you can plan on captaining 1-4 tours per day.

EARNINGS & CREDENTIALS:

Captains can expect to earn a take-home pay of about $140-$170/tour ($90/tour + tips). You must have at least a 25 Ton Master Captain's license to operate the Paddle Pub. MROP is required to operate the Paddle Pub, but not required to apply as it can be obtained prior to your first scheduled tour.
