Job description

At Morning Star Behavioral Associates, we focus on the value of mentorship and collaboration, and believe it’s the best and only way to implement the science of behavior analysis.

Providing world-class, compassionate ABA is what we do. Here, the science matters. Your growth matters.

We’re looking for a full-time clinic-based BCBA that wants to be part of a team that has the same core value as us: Always putting the client first. Because the client deserves nothing less than the best care.

And BCBAs like you deserve a place that matches your purpose and sees your potential. It starts here.

What makes Morning Star different:

  • Collaboration.

We have weekly clinical and peer review meetings so you can collaborate with fellow BCBAs, clinical directors and the chief clinical officer on challenging cases and staff training issues. You’re never alone at Morning Star. We want to grow together.

  • Mentorship.

As a BCBA, you’ll have regular meetings with your RBTs outside of direct service provision to provide guidance. This mentorship goes both ways. Just as you’re a mentor to RBTs, our clinical directors are here to offer guidance on your caseload and answer your questions. Because your growth matters.

  • Client assent.

We believe in letting the client guide their own plan. We’re just here to support and help make their dreams a reality. To ensure BCBAs have training and support on this value, our on-boarding includes 3 CEU courses on incorporating assent procedures in client treatment.

  • Small caseloads.

Because our clients deserve the best care and focus. And you deserve to be valued and heard. That’s why we provide at least 20% supervision for all our clients’ direct service hours. This allows BCBAs to spend more time with their clients and maintain a smaller caseload.

  • Continued education.

Learning should never stop. At Morning Star, it doesn’t. BCBAs can earn 1 CEU monthly by attending our peer review meeting where we read and discuss current research in behavior analysis. BCBAs will also have access to CEU events through CentralReach Institute.

BCBA responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining supervision standards for small caseload of clients
  • Using clinical assessment to select goals focused on adaptive and pivotal skills
  • Writing treatment and behavior intervention plans
  • Meeting with caregivers monthly for parent training and progress reporting
  • Maintaining supervision standard for RBT supervision
  • Training new therapists on the application of behavior-analytic procedures

Minimum requirements:

  • An active BCBA certification from the BACB or eligible to sit for the exam (master’s degree and experience hours complete)

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with CentralReach
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • PCM Certified

Pay and benefits:

We offer competitive pay based on experience. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, basic and supplemental life insurance, short term disability, paid re-certification fees, free CEUs through CentralReach institute and an exceptional time off policy.

Find potential, purpose and growth at Morning Star. You deserve this.
