Job description

Mobile phlebotomist/biometric screener (independent contractor) duties: (NOT an employee based position)

• Must be a resident within the Cincinnati and surrounding areas
• Must already have or be able to obtain basic phlebotomy supplies right away: needles, holders, gauze, cotton balls, bandages, tourniquets and alcohol pads
• Must be comfortable using butterfly needles as well as straight needles
• Must have a centrifuge machine, blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, pulse reader & weight scale. OR you may also use a blood pressure cuff/pulse reader machine and a weight scale.
• Must have phlebotomy liability insurance (covers your work as an independent contractor)
• Must have a smartphone to complete work
• Must be flexible between the hours of 9am-5pm Mon-Fri
• Must pay attention to detail, label tubes & dropoff specimens properly & correctly to company/lab approved shipping facilities

Pay is a flat rate of $30/$40/$50 per job depending on the assignment and distance. Jobs can be between 5 and 59 minutes away from your home base.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Experience:

• ongoing phlebotomy: 2 years (Required)
• taking vitals-weight, pulse and blood pressure: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• phlebotomy liability insurance (Preferred)
• phlebotomy supplies to collect blood samples-no tubes needed (Preferred)
• smartphone to download mobile app (Required)
• centrifuge machine (Preferred)
