Chase Staffing is currently seeking Entry Level Bindery Operator Supervisor in Marietta. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!!

Job Summary:

The Bindery Supervisor Operator will run and maintain machines that bind printed pages to produce books, magazines, catalogs, and other publications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Ability to lead a team of bindery production specialists.

· Evaluates customer specifications, confirms accuracy and coordinates with and for the production accordingly

· Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.

· Operates machinery to cut, fold, glue, trim, bind, and finish the final printed product.

· Set-up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines containing several cutting heads, control surfaces or other attachments.

· Routine maintenance of machines

· Reads work orders and sets the machine in accordance with job specifications.

· Completes trial run and evaluates the quality and appearance of the product.

· Ensures that company’s safety regulations and procedures are followed.

· Ensures that binding machines are in proper working order.

· Sends completed orders to shipping department.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems with machinery.

· Ability to work with stamping, trimming, pressing, and binding machines.

· Excellent written and communication skills.

· Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.

· Excellent time management skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Self-starter who can work independently without direct supervising

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday/ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: $ 52,000 - $54,000 DOE
