Northwest Offset Printing, located in beautiful Spokane Valley, WA is seeking and experienced Bindery Operator to join their team!

Position: Post Press Bindery Operator, Perfect Binder/Saddle Stitch Class 4-5

Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

Salary: $25.38 - $30/hr. (Depending on experience and level of skill)

Hours:​ variable 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts

Location: Spokane Valley, WA – relocation assistance available

About this role: This Bindery Operator serves to finish prepare advertising, editorial, and commercial products for distribution to home delivery subscribers, mail subscribers, and other internal and external customers. Achieves proper bulking on various paper stock and sections; spine alignment; glue application; temperature and trapping. Accurately sets up as many as twelve feeders within one hour to consistently achieve precise cover placement. Demonstrates thorough techniques manipulating clamps, gluer, and trimmer for consistently flawless magazine products.

What you’ll contribute to our team: Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, job instructions, other work related material, and direct instruction. Ability to communicate with employees through various methods including the use of email, text, and in-person. Ability to utilize electronic systems to enter required documentation, electronic and paper for assigned job. Ability to perform basic math and measurements. Strong mechanical aptitude.
