Job Summary:
Urban Engineers is seeking a qualified individual to join the Accounting Department as a Billing Specialist. This position will provide support in our accounting department by generating accurate invoices to expedite timely payments.
Billing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Review & maintain invoice work instructions for assigned projects
- Reconcile invoices totals with each submission
- Incorporate job cost adjustments into invoices
- Create appropriate invoice backup
- Respond to all billing questions
- Develop and maintain rapport with project managers and clients
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting is preferred
- 1-2 years experience in Accounting
- High level of knowledge in Excel
- Proficiency in Deltek Vision is preferred
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
