  • Position: Full-Time Recruiter bilingual ( English/ Spanish)
  • Location: Kennesaw, GA 30144 (near McCullum airport)
  • Work days: Monday thru Friday
  • Work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Recruiting Manager, the position is responsible for (1) sourcing and establishing a worker pipeline; qualifying, pre-screening, and referring qualified workers for short and long-term projects, and (2) recruiting and pre-screening qualified candidates for open positions within the company while ensuring employee recruitment and hiring reflects quality and diversity of the marketplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Displays a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude as an essential function of this position.
Recruiting:
  • Utilizes effective cold-calling strategies to fill job orders and ensure that the required headcount goal is met.
  • Fulfilling and staffing short-term projects across the nation.
  • Sources and identifies qualified candidates (Computer Techs, A/V techs, laborers, warehouse workers, courier drivers, box truck drivers) by searching the internal recruiting databases, job boards, technical colleges/institutes, internet sites, Linkedin, networking, referrals, etc. and analyzing the information provided on candidate’s resume.
  • Establishes and utilizes relationships with technical schools/Universities/Dept. of Labor/Work Forces as needed.
  • Selects specific applicants for openings by conducting telephone pre-screening interviews of likely candidates to determine if they meet the qualifications of the jobs available.
  • Determines the suitability of the candidate and establishes appropriate pay rates for contractors based on skills, abilities, and experience; recommends selected candidates to Project Managers.
  • Forwards appropriate compliance forms to 1099 contractors and follows up to receive all required signed forms.
  • Is notified if the contractor passes a background check and then forwards completed contractor information to HR for data entry and vendor number assignment.
  • Once the contractor is 100% compliant, submit the contractor's resume, hourly rate, and contact information to the appropriate Project Manager via email.
  • Maintains an internal database of candidate profiles.
  • Maintains 1099 contractor and project files along with contractor invoices and payment information.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Entry-level qualifications would be equivalent to an appropriate combination of education and experience: (Minimum 1 year of Recruiting experience and education combined)
  • Possession of an associate’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, or the equivalent in experience in a recruiting/HR capacity; and
  • Prefer candidate to possess (2-4) years of business professional experience as a Recruiter in the staffing environment. Will consider an individual with proven experience in the selection and hiring process.
  • Prefer some level of on-the-job training and/or college courses in human resources.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Discrimination, equal employment opportunity, federal/state wage and hour laws good working knowledge of human resources standards and practices is highly desired.
  • Required: Proficiency with MS Office and Internet applications.
SKILL AT:
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as a working knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills; ability to effectively interact with a diverse employee population.
  • Normal work days/hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m.
  • May work longer than 8 hours per day and may work non-standard business hours per customer’s schedule or project requirements.
