Myticas's direct client based out of Lemont, IL is currently seeking an Informatica Powercenter Developer for a Hybrid contract position.
Job Description:
One of our direct clients is seeking an experienced data engineer to work as a team member within the Enterprise Software Solutions (ESS) department. Expertise in relational data analysis, data design, and data integration tools is required. This individual will join a team responsible for data warehouse implementation and data integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with development team members to understand technical requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand and document acceptance criteria.
- Analyze complex relational data schemas to design integration solutions.
- Design and implement data integrations using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Create logical and physical data models in the context of implementing an enterprise data warehouse.
- Understand and cooperate with the team development process using Agile scrum methods.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and ETL techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with SQL and data manipulation.
- Experience implementing data models and data flows in the context of data warehouse development.
- Knowledge of current Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle database environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SSRS and Power BI is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and technical skills.
- Able to work both independently and as a contributing member of a technical team.
- Able to effectively interact with the organization to derive requirements and design solutions.
- Able to disseminate knowledge to current staff
- Knowledge of agile scrum methodology is beneficial.
