Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Residential Setting
Medication and Symptom Management- Developmental Disabilities

Responsibilities may include:
Responsibilities may include:
- Address the mental, behavioral and physical health needs of clients on approximately a weekly basis.
- Drive to residential sites and perform in person nursing assessments as well as medication review.
- Educate caregivers and clients on their prescribed psychiatric and physical health medications. Monitor for possible side effects.
- Care management duties including coordination of community services and correspondence with treatment team members, such as physicians, pharmacies, guardian, employment programs and residential staff.
- Assist clients in building coping skills to address mood, stressors and improve communication.
- Assist clients in creating annual goals as it relates to their psychiatric diagnosis.
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- RN or LPN license.
- Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
- Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
