Behavioral Health Technician (part-time)

We are looking for a strong, and caring individual to join our team. We are an eating disorder treatment facility in Cooper City, FL. Our residences (where this position is located) are in Pembroke Pines.

Our ideal candidate for this position will understand the recovery process, have keen observation skills and a passion for helping people. You will be onsite at our residences/apartments when our clients are not at the center. You will be stationed in the manager apartment but visiting the client’s apartments as necessary.

Skills:

You should have the ability to listen actively and effectively communicate your thoughts to others. Be able to work alone, but also as a team with fellow staff and actively seek out advice and/or guidance to solve problems. You should have good time management skills and actively look to accomplish tasks.

Key Requirements:

• Drive a 14-passenger Shuttle Vehicle (NO CDL Required)
• Care and compassion towards all clients
• Reliability
• Creating and updating shift notes for clinical staff.
• Perform random rounds of client whereabouts and property safety checks when necessary
• Oversee medication administration.
• Respect cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff
• Fully understand and support policies about professional ethics, including proper boundaries and patient confidentiality
• Driver’s license is needed for client meetings or client grocery shopping using the company vehicle (training will be provided)

We are offering $17 per hour. The position hours are part-time.

We are looking for 3 new hires.

Shifts Available:

Weekday Evenings. Weekend Morning and Evenings

Monday: 3:00PM-10:00PM

Tuesday: 1:30pm-10:00pm

Wednesday: 3:00pm-10:00pm

Thursday: 3:00pm-10:00pm

Friday: 1:30pm-10:00pm

Saturday: 8:00AM-3:00PM / 3:00PM- 10:00PM

Sunday: 8:00AM-3:00PM/3:00PM- 10:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Most of staff is vaccinated. When interacting with clients a mask would be required if not vaccinated.

Experience:

• Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
