Qualifications/Experience

1+ year in drug and alcohol treatment experience preferred. Must have a valid driver license or ID. Must submit evidence of negative TB test renewed annually.

Driving Contingency

Clean Driving Record- No more than 3 Moving Violations in the last 3 years, No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years, No major violations in the last 5 years.

Job Duties

  • General monitoring of clients to ensure that a safe, quiet and friendly atmosphere is maintained in compliance with rules and regulations, and facility is kept clean and orderly at all times
  • Supervision and monitoring of clients while on duty at any location
  • Assist management and other staff members in preparation and implementation property, safety, and infection control protocols and manuals
  • Provide transportation in company vehicle for clients including but not limited to recreational activities, transferring facilities, doctor appointments, urgent care, and 12-step meetings contingent upon clean driving record
  • Recognition of facility clients under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs to notify supervisor
  • Maintain professional boundaries with staff and clients at all times
  • Report and/or handle any crisis or life-threatening emergency; properly report all emergency situations to management immediately
  • Provide oversight and maintain safety and security for all facility clients and facility premises
  • Collect samples for UA testing, process rapid result UA testing as indicated, enter lab requisitions into EMR system, label and appropriately seal and bag UA cups for lab processing
  • Assist with new admission orientation to program and complete orientation document in EMR system
  • Assist office personnel with administrative tasks such as restocking supplies, faxing, scanning, and communicating with third parties
  • Assist clients in obtaining EBT, state benefits, and other benefits as needed
  • Assist case managers and management with client life skills such as job issues, school enrollment, bills, insurance issues, pharmacy matters, court and probation issues, etc.
  • Support clients in recovery and assist in client de-escalation and AMA situations
  • Other tasks from management as assigned.
