General Summary of Job Duties

Looking for an experienced Bartender for a high volume restaurant. Mi Casa Grill Cantina was named one of the best Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas by readers of the
Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mi Casa serves Mexican favorites like enchiladas and fajitas, along with signature dishes. The bar serves 45+ varieties of premium tequila, an award-winning margarita, made with freshly squeezed lime juice and organic agave syrup.

Mi Casa Bartender is responsible for providing superior guest service and preparing specialty cocktails. Service should be consistent with Standard Operating Procedures.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

· Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.

· Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old.

· Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.

· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all bars.

· Handling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales system

· Mixing beverage, serving beverages, food, and amenities in all areas of the bar.

· Marketing and promoting specific events both on property and in public venues

· Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in
a professional manner

· Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis

· Adhere to and enforce company specific safety policies

· Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with Clark County Health Standards

· Flexibility to perform other job related tasks as deemed necessary by management

· Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.

· Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.

· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.

· Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.

· Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

· Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Having completed a bartending school and a completion certificate is not required, but highly suggested
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers
• Employee must meet viral communication standards in promoting and marketing our venue

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
