Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, RI is looking for a bartender to join our team for the Summer 2023 Season (May-mid-October). We are located on 170 Wellington Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities
-
*Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages *Interact with members, take orders, and serve drinks *Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails *Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age *Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies *Stay member focused and nurture an excellent member experience *Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications

*Proven working experience as a bartender *Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks *Positive attitude and excellent communication skills *Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean *Relevant training certificate (TIPS we can provide)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
