Revival is seeking to hire a talented service bartender that is able to work 4-11pm & enjoys making craft cocktails!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Revival is seeking an exceptional Service Bartender with a desire to enhance our guests' memorable dining experience through our unique, quality beverage selection.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute all cocktail beverages for the serving team in a timely manner.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, acknowledging guests and anticipating their needs. Expediently communicate any challenges, guest complaints, or requests.
  • Remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
  • Prepare and serve beverages in compliance with our guidelines and recipes as well as the laws and regulations of the state of South Carolina.
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar throughout the shift. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work area.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to insure product quality.
  • Prepare and properly label large-batch drink mixes, juices, and simple syrup.
  • Practice "Teamwork" and "Clean as you Go" policies.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with other team members from all hotel’s departments.
  • Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

Job Requirements:
Education/Experience:

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Prior food and beverage service or other hospitality experience required.
  • One year bartending experience required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Considerable knowledge of alcoholic beverages and food preparation and service.
  • Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal supervision.
  • Basic mathematical and computer skills necessary to work with guest tickets, credit card transactions and cash. Ability to operate a keyboard and point-of-sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills. Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders
  • A polite, engaging, and professional personality
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence

Working Conditions:
Equipment to Be Used:

  • POS computer system
  • Bar utensils, coffee machine, soda gun
  • Various kitchen equipment and beverage equipment

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Availability to work 4-11pm during the week, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to transport up to 125 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods of time, possibly in confined spaces.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.

Work Environment:

  • Revival is an indoor sixty-two-seat dinner-only restaurant and small venue event space. Will occasionally work in other areas of the property including other restaurant/banquet outlets, storage areas, kitchens, and guest areas.
  • The work environment includes high guest contact; may involve varying conditions and circumstances with guests, staff, visitors, etc.

Hourly Pay:

  • $13.00 per hour up to 40 hours. Overtime will be paid at time and a half for any hours over 40 in a week.
