We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Server to set up and prepare banquet room for banquet functions. The Banquet Server will also serve and bus tables as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

At an elevation of 5,200 feet in a lakeside setting that feels like no other place in Southern California, you’ll find Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa, an Autograph Collection Hotel. Our hotels tranquil setting is framed by majestic pines, a private lake and gabled rooftops. Secluded and completely removed from civilization, yet just 90 minutes from Los Angeles and Orange County.

Position Description & Job Responsibilities

• Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and put out table centerpieces.
• Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables.
• Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
• Responsibilities also include cleaning of back hall and organizing of storerooms.

Formal Education and Job Related Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years food and beverage experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and helpful personality.

Job-Related Physical Requirements

This position requires the employee to engage in Frequent Walking, Pushing and Pulling, Lifting up to 50lbs. Manual Dexterity and Fine Motor Skills. Occasional Sitting, Bending Over and Balancing. Constant Standing, Gross Motor Skills, Eye Hand Coordination, Near Vision, Far Vision & Hearing.

Environmental Factors

Working outside, inside, along and closely with others. Working around noise, above ground, around chemicals/detergents and cleaners. Walking on uneven surfaces.

Rate of Pay: $15.50 per hour
