Would you like to join Team Demelza? We are looking for HCA's to join our flexi bank, where you will be given the opportunity to expand on and learn clinical skills, care for children with life limiting or life threatening conditions, and support families through difficult times.

Candidates will:

  • have an NVQ level 2 in health care or other relevant qualification
  • have experience of working with children with disabilities or complex needs
  • be able to demonstrate an understanding of Safeguarding with the ability to recognise and report concerns effectively
  • be able to show a can do approach in a busy team environment
  • have the ability to constantly prioritise and innovate to meet the needs of the children, young people and families
  • have excellent communication skills with the capability to interact with teams and families at all levels
  • have the ability to work in collaboration with other professionals

This role requires a flexible approach to working and will be led by the needs of the case load. There will also be potential opportunities to work in the community as the Demelza Care at Home service expands. Shifts include days, nights, weekends and public holidays, for which additional enhancement payments will be made.
