Automotive Mechanic/Technician
Clearwater, FL
Pinellas Auto Service is expanding and we currently have an opening for an automotive mechanic to help keep up with the high volume in our service department. We have an immediate need for Experienced mechanics. Our shop has vehicles towed in on a regular basis from our AAA calls providing constant work. We are the AAA service provider for all of South Pinellas county and Manatee county. We have over 30 tow trucks running 24/7.

Responsibilities of a Service Technician at Pinellas Auto service include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles to specifications; ensuring customer safety & satisfaction.
- Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Must be able to properly diagnose, repair, and document repairs.
- Possess a strong work ethic and drive
- Ability to complete jobs correctly and efficiently the first time.

Qualifications of a Pinellas Towing & Transport Mechanic are:
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Strong computer and internet skills.
- Automotive certifications or designation desired.
- Capable of driving both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Possess all basic tools need to repair vehicles.
- Capable of communicating with co-workers clearly and effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills.
