Position Summary
George Wall Ford has a job opening for a Service Porter/Valet. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to work in and around the automotive industry. The primary role of this position is performing customer pick up and redelivery services. However, our porters generally help out the entire service department in any way they can. Whether it's organizing our service parking lot or helping one of our technicians, they are always there to lend a hand.
This is an introductory position with room for advancement within the service department.
Compensation/Benefits
- Hourly compensation from $15-$16 per hour
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage offered - majority funded by George Wall Ford (partial funding dependent on type of coverage and employee tenure)
- 401k with employer matching available
- Paid time off as well as earned vacation time based on tenure.
Responsibilities
- Check in and park customer cars and loaners (noting damage, parking spot, and mileage)
- Provide rides to customers as needed
- Maintain service parking areas
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of shop area
- Assist technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Arrive to work on time
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Understand and follow work rules and procedures
- Accept constructive criticism.
