Job description

Mechanic needed immediately for Taxi Company. Some weekend availability needed. Own tools and ability to manage shop and work independently a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair fleet of 15 vehicles
• Respond to field service calls
• Keep an accurate maintenance and repair log for each vehicle
• Assess necessary repairs and submit to Office Manager for approval
• Order, return and keep an accurate log of all parts needed
• Perform service, repairs and adjustments to all vehicles including brakes, tires, oil, electrical, and all other components of vehicles, including engines and transmissions
• Work well independently to complete all vehicle related tasks, but also maintain open and appropriate communication with management, dispatchers and drivers
• Maintain repair shop in neat and organized

Must have:

• At least 5 years experience working in a repair facility
• Experience maintaining a fleet a plus
• Own tools
• Valid drivers license
• Some on call availability
• Good work ethic and positive demeanor
