AUTOMOTIVE Finance & Insurance Manager

Position Description:

We are currently searching for an F&I manager to provide support for our Sales department at our dealership in Clinton, IL. This is truly a rare opportunity for the right candidate. While F&I experience is a plus, it is not required. A proven track record in sales and a readiness to go to the next level is welcomed.

Responsibilities including:

  • Oversee all customer loan origination and approval
  • Present products to the customer while maintaining a high CSI
  • Complete all transaction and purchase contract materials
  • Maintain accurate product information
  • Present all products to every customer 100% of the time
  • Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases; present customers with additional product ovverings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience
  • Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability
  • Maintain proficiency and certifications required for the position
  • Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals
  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Prepare paperwork, contracts, and deliver deals
  • Accurately audit team deals, post sale, and deeply analyze for improvements
  • Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts

Preferred qualifications including:

  • Experience in an automobile dealership, 3 years of finance experience
  • Menu presentation and selling skills, with expertise in negotiation
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the desire for continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability
  • Well versed in title laws and registration process
  • Professional personal appearance

Successful candidates must have a valid driver's license, pass a drug test and background check and have solid references.
